USMLE Step 2
The USMLE Step 2, the United States Medical Licensing Examination Step 2, is a clinical medical examination divided into two separate examinations, USMLE Step 2-CK and USMLE Step 2-CS. The USMLE Step 2 is used to assess the application of medical knowledge, skills, practices, abilities and experiences to patient care under supervision. Ideally completed by fourth year medical students prior to entering residency where they will be caring for patients under supervision.
